I was thinking of getting a new phone. Currently has a Redmi Note 9 Pro.

Looking for a phone with a good camera as I plan to travel alot. Noticed the new Redmi Note 12 Pro camera is not that great. Do I look at Redmi or switch to Poco or another brand? Looking for something that doesn't break the bank but is good quality.

I the Xiaomi 12T Pro 256GB is on mi store R16,999.00 and the Xiaomi 12T is 13999. Xiaomi 12 is sold out but comes with a watch. Don't see the 12 Pro is the store.

200MP for the main camera on the 12 T PRO is tempting but the screen and front, quality and front camera for the 12 Pro seems better.

Scary thing is the Poco F4 GT was going for R13999 just a few weeks ago, now it's sitting at 15499 on takealot, same spec as the xiaomi 12 pro

I've been using my Redmi Pro Note 11 for a few months and it seems to be going well. I paid around R6.5k. The camera is not as good as the Iphone but it seems to come close.

India for the Indian market. Shenzhen for the Chinese and rest of the world AFAIK. Don't think they have a factory in Europe.

You can use this guide and I would suggest following it but I have found the best way to get rid of ads is to set your phone to use the Adguard DNS. This will block most ads in apps as well (Not youtube ofcourse).

I ordered the Redmi K50 G from Amazon. The specs are impressive! It's almost half the price of the mirror-image Poco at Takealot. Now the wait for delivery...

I'm planning to buy one, I'm confused between Note 10 pro and 11 pro and Poco f3

Both Notes are midrangers with midrange CPU's.

I have the F3. Flagship grade, economical 870 CPU and UFS 3.0 storage make it very snappy in comparison to the Notes (my wife has a Note 10 Pro which is noticeably slower during navigation etc)
