Does this mean some don't? With my luck I'll rather go for a sure thing and get the Samsung.Yes it does, well the one I bought does.

I've imported Redmi models on 2 occasions where the local price or stock availability was not up to par. On the one hand hoping Amazon's local presence improves this somewhat next year, but at the same time, don't really want them to completely obliterate the competition. So the Redmi note 12 Pro and Pro+ are Both cheaper from Amazon with shipping and import duties!
Similar as the Poco M3 deadboot issue.I have a Redm 9T 128GB here that has an odd issue where it refuses to start up after a reboot.
What to do with it? I would hate for it to end up in a landfill since the screen, battery, cameras etc. are still good. Not sure if maybe it needs a software reload or something.

It’s just dead, nothing on the screen at all. No amount of fiddling with button combos seems to have any effectDoes it go into bootloader or fastboot mode?
Boot:
Switch off phone, hold power and volume up.
Fastboot:
Switch off phone, hold power and volume down.
If we look at the current latest model which is the Poco F5, it was announced that it will only have +-2 years of updates / supports, since Poco F3 is released back in 2021, it has probably reached its end of support period already. I suspect these are the corners Xiaomi cut in order to get a price advantage on the phone itself.7 month anniversary, not even a fecking measly security patch.

This is why I think I’ll be avoiding Xiaomi in the future.
