And tell them how the current offering from ESPN on DStv is way better the the previous incarnation. I'm talking about primetime broadcasts of multiple NFL and baseball games, games that are broadcast by different networks that you wouldn't find being broadcast on ESPN in the USA.

... well no, I would be paying R449 to effectively watch football only. So actually quite expensive.

R83.46 to watch F1 - cool. Thanks for letting me know. For cricket and international rugby I will continue supporting the pirates.
 
Apples and Oranges - no footie, rugby or cricket on those, and no interest in F1, fight night, WWE, tennis etc. But then this is supposed to make Showmax/DSTV look good to the plebs ...

No where near good enough, but slowly showing signs of starting to move in the right direction.

Just enabled the Getflix DNS in Windows. Hulu, Netflix, Disney+ websites seem to react as expected, but BBC tells me that iPlayer is only available in the UK. How are you accessing it these days?
 
So when can we see the article on how to watch the sports people are actually interested in legally without Dstv?

Does iPlayer actually open the streams or does it ask for an account with a verified TV license? They were threatening that for ages before I lost interest in iPlayer a while back.

I set up the router with the smart dns service but it shouldn't make a difference. I can't recall what they're called with Getfix but have you set up the zones/regions for the UK channels?

I've tried iPlayer just now on my laptop and ipad and it worked just fine

It doesn't mention BBC or iPlayer, but I think "Channel Group B" needs to be set to the UK. I'm no longer being told the service is only available in the UK but rather being pestered to login.
