Wootware.
^^, if he got the board and CPU from the same place, ask them to sort it out. It's a bit poor if they didn't pick up the issue before selling it.
But they also offer really good prices don't they? Their customer service generally speaking seems to be above par. Can't have it all IMO...^, all true but given it's Wootware, I don't think it's unfair to expect better from them. They're a specialist hardware place unlike a Takealot or Raru.

I've been doing my homework,
I have Monitors + Keyboard and Mouse.
Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP ZT-P10700C-10P 8GB GDDR5 256-bit PCI-E 3.0 Desktop Graphics Card
Raijintek Aidos Black Edition 92mm PWM Fan CPU Cooler
Corsair CP-9020051-WW VS650 650W Desktop Power Supply
Intel i5-7500 3.4 GHz Quad Core 14nm Kaby Lake Socket LGA1151 Desktop CPU
G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GVKB Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 CL16 1.35V Black Desktop Memory
I'd love advice of what I might be missing or should change.
As for budget I was aiming under 10k
But the GPU pushes me over so I am currently looking at something different.
So I have changed my original, and this is now it.

Before I purchase this tomorrow,
Anything you guys would change?
My only worry is the ram, is 3200 needed? is 16gb enough?
^, the case's aesthetics are one thing (that's subjective) but the review is dated 2004? What's going on there?
Are you guys talking about that schit looking Viper case or what?
Looking nice! Is that PETG tubing?

Looks like good value components, the only thing that I would have changed is the PSU if Wootware had stock of these: http://www.wootware.co.za/super-flo...ified-fully-modular-desktop-power-supply.html but unfortunately they're out
1. That CPU is not going to work on that MB unless you flash the MB BIOS to a later version. In order to flash the BIOS you need a Skylake CPU. So you will have to borrow a Skylake CPU or take the MB to a PC shop for flashing. If I remember correctly you already have the MB as it was a gift?
2. That MB has a m.2 slot so instead of the sata ssd you might wanna look into a m.2 ssd, they are much faster but also cost more.
3. Yes the RAM is fine. Speed will help in some apps & games also overclocking. 16GB is plenty.
I would rather advise just get a z270 mobo for all that effort
He already has the Z170 MB, it was given to him as a gift so he can't change that.
