AMD will support Zen 3 on B450 & X470 motherboards!

Nice...the interwebs revolting paid off.

So B450 / X470 will support everything from a Ryzen 3 1200 to a Ryzen 9 4950* - that's pretty great. The prices of 3000 series stuff should also follow normal depreciation instead of being kept high because people on 400 series boards can't get anything better. Interesting to see what a 3900X used costs in a couple years.

Not to good considering the roe at the moment

3 generations isn't too bad

4 generations ;)

1st gen Zen 1x00
2nd gen Zen+ 2x00
3rd gen Zen2 3x00
4th gen Zen3 4x00

Considering Zen4 is only coming out in 2022 you're looking at 4-5yrs of cpu support from a mb, now try that with intel...

Forgot Zen+

I finally received my order from PC Link Computers this morning after more than 2 weeks only to find that they sent me everything for my build except a motherboard even though they listed it as one of the items in the delivery. They don't answer phone calls and don't reply to emails. I have sent messages to their sales and support departments, but I don't even think they read these messages. Does anybody know how I can resolve this?

Sounds like Telkom :(

Pclink, telkom and evetech uses the same outsourced support company :p
I'm thinking so does Burger Perfect, everytime I've requested a delivery from them, I'm always short of something, on Sunday they messed up the burgers by making 3 spicy when I asked for 2.
Off topic I know but injecting a little humour here hopefully.

Okay, so month end coming up, and I need an SSD, for my new build. MSI B450 M2 Pro ( the one Ponder recommended )

So what will fit, would like a 500 gig one, if budget can reach that far. Otherwise a 250 gig. will have to do.

Need to buy a power supply as well, as the 12 volt rail on current one sags a bit, sometimes. Not nice.

Budget for those two items?
PSU wattage or what will it drive?

MB supports PCIe 3.0 NVMe and SATA 2242/ 2260 /2280 storage devices
