Anyone seen a nice plain black micro-atx case.. at a reasonable price?

Ok. All Z boards I've seen so far have had additional heatsinks

Ah ok. So liquid nitrogen, etc? Would make sense then with extra space needed to attach that type of cooler.

Indeed - hence the "LN2" in the name. You'll notice it also uses AM3 mounting holes - something rather unique :D It's so the traces to the memory slots can be more direct.
 
Asus IPS monitors don't always have the best reviews, though. Terrible IPS glow and back light bleed. Apparently it's a lottery with ASUS panels whether you get a good one or not, which sucks considering how expensive they are.

Can't wait to get a new case.. Zip ties to keep cards supported aren't pretty. :(
Neither is the out-of-place blue fan..
Also need some cable management.. I was just in too much of a hurry to try my card. :3

Was about to joke about your case then saw your comment :D
Jokes, it's not bad, just very um... generic.
I reckon there's a gap for proper case designers to rock the market. Like creative stuff, not the faux alien look or the 'yet another box' look.
 
Hey Guys,

I'm not new to the site but definitely to the forums. I've been out of gaming for about 3 years now since my gf got pregnant, so i sold my rig and now we have a beautiful almost 3 yr old rugrat.

mooshy stuff aside. this December, specifically the 9th I'll have R14500 to blow on a new rig. i have an old A-Top Alien Z case that i dug up from the pc grave at my old lecturers office and a really cool gigabyte gaming mouse. i'll be using my HiSense 50" 3D tv as a monitor for now (gf has laptop - Thank God) so i basically need help with a decent build.

I've checked websites like wootware, evetech, zaps, takealot and so many others. i've watched youtube vids and theres too much info to go through. this stuff used to come to me like bible scripture to a preacher but now its like bruh!! whats this? can i eat it?

I will be getting back into games like EVE Online, Smite, the new Paladins looks interesting. TotalWar for my gf cause she loves strategy games. i've always been about beauty over performance but if i can have both with 14500 then bonus!!
