Mine hasn't Ryzen yet but it's definitely starting to twitch :o

Might be time to retire my Sandy Bridge box later this year.

^ What he said. Indications are that we'll see a launch early March, nothing announced by AMD officially yet though.

Fury X (in the pic). Just not able to really get the most out of it yet with the CPU in the system currently (i5 3470), SWFB however runs like a dream @1440p Ultra with over 100fps in multiplayer.

Fury still a good card? Compared to the 1070 etc? I imagine it's much cheaper now.

Fury X is generally slightly slower than a 1070 but still perfect for 1440p or 1440p/144Hz gaming. Faster in a few of the AMD-favoured titles like Hitman and Doom, etc and holds it's own with most of the new games like BF1 (where it's faster than a stock 1070 but 1070 could probably OC better and be ahead slightly).

Plus it's watercooled and runs super quiet/cool.

So yes, for R5500 it was a bargain and I grabbed it.

Was that R5.5k new or used? Can't find one in the UK for cheaper than a 1070.
 
Just ordered my Phanteks LED strips from wootware, gonna make my pc look super-pretty, will upload pictures again if I remember.

If anyone is looking for great fans, I'd definitely recommend the EKWB Vardar fans.
Just ordered some more, they are easily the quietest, highest airflow fans I've ever owned, sure, they're a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

Also glad to see I'm not the only person here waiting for Ryzen. :3
 
^, I just decided to move my case under my desk :o...after many years of it sitting next to me on the desk. Now I need a narrower case since the HAF 922 doesn't fit in the cubby thing on the side of the desk.

Going to be an extremely functional plain thing, I expect. My days of making it look nice are done...I must be getting old :o
 
Phanteks P400S (non-tempered glass) was on special at Wootware so that's me :)

If anyone's interested in a HAF 922 for the price of shipping (collection preferred so I don't have to find a box for it), lemme know.
