You can get a 3950x, 2x 2080ti's and as many hard drives as your heart desires and still have enough left to power your kitchen appliances

That is the point, to have the confidence, to plug whatever I need to, in and not worry, in the slightest.

Unfortunately not mine. Customer should be happy though

Motherboard only has one USB 2 header. Could not connect PSU and watercooling. Had to modify and connect both cables to a single USB connector. Everything detected now.

Thought as much.

Nice, when everything works, and the owner is happy.

Hopefully the parts and your work are paid for, not nice having to wait for your cash.

I finally got my motherboard yesterday and could complete my build after 25 days of ordering everything. Two things that bothers me is the motherboard I ordered has a screw mount for a NVME M.2 SSD that wasn't punched and died so you cant attach the heatsink on it. The other bothersome thing is it doesn't seem that my RAM's timing is the advertised speed. It was listed as a kit of 2x Kingston DDR4-3600 hyper-x Predator 16Gb sticks with CL15 timings. I ran the XMP profile but it show it as CL17 timings. Am I missing something? I payed a rather big premium on those sticks. The PC consists of a Gigabyte X570 Aurus Master motherboard, AMD Ryzen 3900X, Kingston DDR4-3600 hyper-x Predator 16Gb x 2, GIGABYTE Aorus nVidia RTX 2080 Super , Thermaltake Floe Riing 360 AIO, Thermaltake Core P3 Snow case and a Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB 750w power supply.

Check with CPU-Z what your RAM states, you might have to manually adjust the timings?

Bios up to date?

Download,

The first one will id you ram properly, the second will help you with optimised ram settings.

A note in the comments,
Instead of reading the XMP in Dram Calculator, I suggest to export the complete HTML Report with latency in nanoseconds from Thaiphoon Burner and import that to Dram Calculator, as the XMP reading is often not correct.

A note in the comments,
I have the latest bios installed yes. It would seem that the ram is not the same as the advertised product. Thanks.

I have a Zotac 1060 3gb and looking to upgrade to something that is not too expensive but at least worth the purchase, as I want to give this card to my gf as a decent upgrade from her 560 TI.

I have been looking at the obvious 1660 Supers from Wootware but perhaps the radeon is a better buy?

Other specs:

Ryzen 5 2600 Hexa core
16gb 3600mhz Trident
SSD Crucial 256gb
ASRock B450 PRO4 AMD Promontory B450

Late reply, but I was in almost exactly the same situation. Ryzen 5 2600 with 1060 6GB, wife with a 560Ti.

I ended up picking up a second hand 1080 (same price as a 1660Ti) off of Carbonite to tide me over until I can see what the new series (September) brings to the table.

I'm happy with the performance jump and wife is happy because she can play games decently on the TV at 4K.

I was looking at the price of second hand cards, wow they've gone up hey :-( was looking at a 2nd hand 1080ti and it was R7k

Upgrading my Plex Server a bit. Adding some Corsair ML140 PWM case fans. The included case fan with my Phanteks case isn't even PWM. Really? Having front fan mounting issues still. Changing CPU cooler from Cooler Master Hyper H411R to a Corsair Hydro H60. Motherboard only has 2 fan headers so have to add a splitter cable :cautious:

Before.
