it shows different things online
i just need to make sure before pressing the buy button

The first gen vega chip was the 2200 and 2400, than the second gen was the 3200g. A 3200g is actually a Zen+ chip which is second gen, while the 2200 was normal Zen. Yeah AMD's odd naming scheme.

That's not odd, that the kind of confusing that keeps people away from purchasing.

Go for it!

pocket says go for it
having trouble as i really like both the tomahawk max and carbon gaming pro

maybe il pay full price through wootware and use ebucks for NVME and monitor

what ram would you put together with the 3200g and b450 board?
16gb
gskill ripjaw 3200 @ 1550
gskill ripjaw 3600@ 1630
above from wootware full price

Corsair VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200 @2500 ( with ebucks 1,500)

HYPERX PREDATOR RGB 8GB DDR4-3200 CL16 @1,120 ( with ebucks 1,200 for 16gb)

Corsair Vengeance RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000 @ 2,340( with ebucks 1,300)

gskill ripjaw 3600@ 1630

I got this ram with my build. Doesn't want to run at 3600 with the mobo profiles. Tried the calculator that Ponder posted but I have no idea what I am doing and couldn't get that to work either. Didn't want to fiddle too much so I set the bios profile to 3200 and that worked fine. Still need to try 3400 some time. For the small price difference I would still take these over the 3200's as they might not run at 3200.

Do us a favour,
1. What do you already have & provide links?
2. What's your budget & how many ebucks do you have?
3 What will you be using the pc for and what are your expectations?
4. Provide links to the components you are interested in as more details can be gained from the sku etc than description.

Have you tried exporting the typhoon burner data?

Upload your export to a filesharing site and give me the link
