Indeed.
This is what I got:

The fans look just like the original, Zotac logo (blurred out on the site for some reason) and all. They have 3 mounting holes though, where it seems you need 4.
Yeah, it's the Galax Sniper White...they used an I-shaped bracket.

It's plastic though so some judicious filing and gluing should do...I'll take the I-bits off the existing fan and glue them onto the replacement.

I'm mulling over the idea of upgrading my old 1st gen i7.
I'll keep the peripherals and 1660ti GPU and pop the above parts in. It's a bit expensive but I'm trying to buy something that doesn't need to be upgraded again for a while.
Thoughts/Comments?

Unless you have a specific need for X570, which I don’t think you do as you aren’t going any heavy cooling, just grab a B550 board. Save the cash for a GPU upgrade or an NVMe.

Thnx. There a bazillion mobo's out there and I don't know the differences. Other than the obvious like CPU compatibility/WIFI no. of USB etc.

X570 has some additional features and usually better quality VRMs and power management so they’re better for overclocking.

For general usage and gaming and such it holds no real advantage over B550.

Intel still way behind AMD in the fabrication process, so they're just changing the rules?
