Might have been mentioned here or somewhere, but I just saw techfox closed down. Bought a few stuff from them recently for my new build. Sad
We’re calling it a day, indefinitely.
It has been an amazing couple of years. While we survived COVID, GPU shortages, inflation, rocky exchange rates, and constant fuel hikes, the continued pressure both financially and mentally, has taken a heavy toll. As a small start-up, and with no real sign of economic relief in sight, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to maintain a sustainable business that offers competitive pricing, flexible return policies, and fair compensation to all those involved which made Techfox a reality.
The decision was not made lightly, and the sadness I feel today is crushing, and will probably stay with me for many years to come.
We can proudly say that we are able to leave on a high note, in that all our supplier relations remain very positive, and all warranties intact. While some may not deal with customers directly, we’ll be leaving up contact details should you need assistance, and the amazing individuals at Dreamware will also be able to assist you with any queries where we are not able to.
I’d like to thank each and every one of you who supported me, and everyone else at Techfox that made this all possible. While most would have dealt with me, those behind the scenes are the real MVPs.
We’ll be moving some of the last stock on hand through various sales and holding the fort until the very last order has been packed, handed to the courier, and delivered.
Stay cool,
Darren & Techfox team

Undervolting is cool, though...literally. 15-20% less power, 8-10 degrees cooler with the same boost clocks.Nope no undervolthappy with it as is, it's a massive upgrade from my Ryzen 2600 and 2060 super I started with a month ago

Ok so played God of War at ultra for about 45 minutes and temprature on the GPU stayed at around 71 degrees, my CPU was hitting 60 degrees which is a tad higher than it was, but come to think of it I never really tested the 5600 that much. My old 2600 would only ever hit about 55 degrees, though the 5600 is hitting 45% and clock speeds are sitting at max so that is possibly why.Just check temps - if they're fine, no worries. If they're a little warm, just move the one fan across until the extra one arrives.
Good job on the RGB, that build is looking sweet man. Also, the cable side of the case has to remain closed at all times. It is the way. Noone needs to know.
Those temps are totally fine. I would get an additional fan anyway - cooler is better - but those temps are well in line bru. I'll get thereI'm going to order another fan for the back and see if I can get that deep cool fan controller off.
Front fan rgb working now as well. Now no one must see the back of the case lala View attachment 1345174
It is a 120mm yeah, I was worried about the RAM but it fitted, not sure on the Hyper 212 as this is a Raidmax A1204Is the CPU fan a 120mm?
I’m asking because I have the 2 x 8Gb RAM (the same with you) and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 CPU cooler. I want to add another 2 x 8Gb but I’m worried they won’t fit.

Wootware dropping off tomorow!
Took openbox one to save 2k, just need get 3xll120, as it only comes with 3.
Then I guess need wait for am5.
Will do, after my bios update my aorus x370 gaming k7 support up to ryzen 5950x, through I guess its better to wait for am5!Pics after build
Everyone always says wait for the next platform, wait for the next GFX card. Prices aren't going to drop for the previous generation, this is SA and I want that 3070ti now, to boost from my 2060super.Will do, after my bios update my aorus x370 gaming k7 support up to ryzen 5950x, through I guess its better to wait for am5!
Thanks. I will check the specs for A1204.It is a 120mm yeah, I was worried about the RAM but it fitted, not sure on the Hyper 212 as this is a Raidmax A1204
Howzit,Wonder if you guys can help.
Had a i7-7700K and an ASUS Prime P270-P and Coolermaster 2-fan watercooling which was all water damaged.
Looking at replacing with the following, would you say this is balanced? Have 16gb DDR4-3200, 1070Ti, M.2 SSD to use. Quite a fan of Intel and ASUS, always had rock solid stability and performance.
Are these balanced? Any changes/recommendations?
Thanks a lot

Thanks so much, helpful suggestions here. Why you say "avoid maintenance of an AIO?" I have no experience besides my own single purchase but my cooler master water cooling lasted 3 years without issue, didn't make noise which is nice, but didn't keep it as cool as I'd hoped (80c under load with turbo for 7700K), so your suggestion with 12-gen heat makes sense. Just scared of having a potential jet engine noise.Howzit,
I wouldn't get a Z690 board unless there's a feature you specifically require that a B660 board doesn't have. It has better overclocking capabilities but you don't have an overclocking processor (that would be the 12600K) so it would be a waste. I'd save the money and upgrade that AIO to a 240/280mm. Intel 12th Gen runs hot, you're going to want better cooling for the CPU.
Also, never buy from Evetech.
I would do something like this. Faster and unlocked CPU so you can overclock if you want to. This cooler has really good reviews and Gamers Nexus were happy with it's performance. Less maintenance than an AIO and it's capable of keeping this CPU cool.
