Hmm cheap 3070s are sold on woot wondering if they holding back stock, as its the last day eth mining. Suppose to be raining gpus from tommorow
Cheaper than the 3070s
I got this one for this price 3 months ago.

3070 of that one was in stock for R9999 other day :(
Damn if it was that price, I would've gotten it instead, the FPS difference between the 3070 and ti aren't that much.
Didn't they have 6800s for under 9k at one point and that is easily 3070 territory.

They still have 1 recertified 6800 for R9699 , I think the real deal was the 6800 XT speedster Merc Black with a USB C port for R10499 last week.
Watched the HW unboxed review of that Merc Black and they said it blew the competition away, the best quality XFX GPU they have ever tested.

R10499 is a daaaamn good price, man why the prices couldn't be like this 4 months ago :-)

So I'm back in the market for a GPU. Still got the i3-7100 and 8GB RAM.

Here are my selections:

All of them are basically the same price. But I don't know which one to go for. The goal here is to get a card that's relatively "new", but should run most games effectively (upgrading from Gigabyte GTX 750 Ti 4GB) without having to upgrade the CPU and of course the MOBO.

RAM selection:

Experts, please advise.

Could you up your budget?

Pretty sure this will blow all those out the water

Not at all. Sorry.

That's why I chose those three since I'm already pushing my budget.

So which of those three is the best option for my setup?

The RX580 is the best of those cards.

Having said that, it's terribly-priced. These cards used to be 3 grand if memory serves (I think the RX 570 might have been around 2.5k once upon a time).

The only thing close to that pricing is a GTX 1050 Ti. I don't think the 570/580 is available anywhere else tbh.

Yeah, I see so. AMD joined Nvidia in giving the budget segment the finger since people were buying anything and everything that came out the last couple years.

Hmmm. Yeah, it was a card frenzy with COVID and lockdown and all...

So I should go with the 580 then?

Honestly those are not great bang for your buck at all, with such a strict budget I would rather look at the used market if I were you.
Can grab a 1660 super with warranty for R3300 or a GTX 1080 for R3700 if you just want the most performance and don't care about the warranty.

No man, what am I missing here?
Those cards you're looking at are around 4200 each?

Woot has a 6600 for a little more
