Hmmm. Yeah, it was a card frenzy with COVID and lockdown and all...

So I should go with the 580 then?

If it's a choice from those 3, then yeah, definitely.

The 6600 the other guys have mentioned does come with a warranty and is a much, much better card.

Cool.

Unfortunately, I'm not gonna push my budget more than I already have.
That’s unfortunate. Double the performance for R500 more.

RX580 8gb from those options for sure

Edit: I see it’s a 4gb.

Makes the 6600 even more a no brainer, but I get it, always forget that not everyone is in the same situation

Or buy 2nd hand, which imo is a much better deal than buying a new 580 4gb for that price.

Hmm cheap 3070s are sold on woot wondering if they holding back stock, as its the last day eth mining. Suppose to be raining gpus from tommorow
The Galax 3070 is back on pre order, they upped the price to R9999 from R9699, I guess the rand taking a dive before their stock lands is why they delisted them to raise the prices.

I haven't personally used any of the 2-fan cards, but I would go for a 3-fan option where possible. Mine gets warm and I have a well-ventilated case and a 3-fan 3070.

The cheapest 3 fan 3070 card on Woot right now is R12899 , that's not exactly a small difference in price.

No, it isn't. Whether or not it's worth it, I can't say as I haven't used one. I just know they get hot and wouldn't want it to start throttling due to heat.

I'll check my 2 fan 3070ti but from what I recall it wasn't getting to hot around 70 degrees, my old 2060 super was always around 80.

The original listing was R8000, R1000 price drop per 12 hours.

It begins.

Have you tried a manual voltage curve in Afterburner? Undervolting is literally black magic...my card benches a fraction higher if I cap the voltage at 0.875mv rather than the default 1.083v. I think the clock speeds are also capped below what the default boost speeds were hitting...can't remember what I left it on. While running 8-10 degrees cooler.

Summer is coming.

I haven’t because I don’t struggle with cooling. But my setup is probably better than the average and it’s a good card. I can’t imagine a 2-fan setup coping too well.

I’ll try it later though, maybe I can squeeze some temps out of it to make it even betterer

I've set my case and cpu fans to be 10% more aggressive which already dropped the gpu's temp. There' always google/reddit and msi afterbuner with its fan curve.

Are you running tools like gpuz, coretemp or hwinfo to monitor?

On carbonite yes its long gone now

Are they all sold?
Those are the best bang for the bucks cards, I’ve been eyeing them out new. Pity I bought a 1070ti at the beginning of the year before the grfx card apocalypse… paid nearly R6k :(
