Carbonite would be your best bet. Even if you just get a few parts from there or something like that.Any guidance on second hand builds ? Facebook ads are shady at best and have to be cautious.
Will xcOJ101 please change his nick, it’s like trying to tag an Elon Musk and Grimes babyOkay cool. I don't see any way to buy a complete tower for gaming at that budget, not with new parts. Your cheapest GPU worth looking at is like R3,500.

You would think an IT Reseller would have a Tagable name, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Will xcOJ101 please change his nick, it’s like trying to tag an Elon Musk and Grimes baby
What is your budget?Hi Guys
Questioning CPU choice cause of cost specifically the lack of good intel motherboards with good IO compared to AMD (AM4) motherboards
But is this a good choice ? Was looking at an Intel i5 13400 or 13500 is AMD close or can be better ?
6 Cores would be okay but would like 8
Thanks

Intel OptionBudget is around 20k can stretch it to 22k
Will use the PC for gaming some work with VMs hence the extra cores needed general use
Currently have a 6 Core i7 laptop with a 1050Ti but fan died so cannot use it for anything stressful
Gaming would be around 1440p and 4K if possible
Thanks
So close in price. Tough choice.Intel Option

Agreed. I am not sure which way I'd go really, I'd have to look over the charts and so on but I'm thinking the 5800X maybe. So close in price. Tough choice.
There were 2 question marks
Assuming gaming:
Intel 13400 vs and 7600 is going to be much of a muchness paired with a 3060ti.
If you’re looking at AM4/Ryzen 5000, then I’d definitely go with the 13400, as even the 12400 was a better gaming choice on the “low” end
Don't forget RAM, you'll need a decent amount if you're running a bunch of VMs. Luckily that can always be added later.Yea I don’t want something overkill cpu wise but I will run some vms so the extra cores help

That's weird, I had chosen one. Here's an updated one with a motherboard.Whoa thanks a lot here @UrBaN963 ! It’s genuinely tough to pick here but the intel one didn’t include a motherboard
Damn that would make it more expensive

Considering price, you have made this difficult between AMD and IntelThat's weird, I had chosen one. Here's an updated one with a motherboard.
