The ANC's incompetence is an 'understanding'. It is required.... for the green agenda to take place.

None of it is necessary. Were it not for outside interference, in encouraging the ANC to take huge loans in return for taking 'the best international advice,' that puts foreign interests in control, I'm pretty sure we would have been back to a fully operating sustainable (coal-fired) electricity grid, years ago.

No, the side it picked was the side that could offer it protection from potential market rivals, emerging from the middle-class.... i.e. the State.

A monopoly is only sustainable through State assistance.

When your bank starts to make demands of you that you sense are onerous but can't quite put your finger on, in terms of how it acquires the boldness to make, it is because of the lack of open competition in the field of banking..... enabled through State regulation who's overt act is pro-open competition yet who actual effect is to create artificial (uncalled-for by consumers) barriers to entry i.e red-tape.
