3 would do it... but then we'll rely on NZ not to **** up in their home series..

No, depends on other country matches
The commentators we have do superficial analysis...If they actually did any proper research they would know that only applies if sri lanka manages to upset new zealand in nz. Sri lanka has managed the grand total of 2 wins in nz in the last 10 years in 16 games.
The two players who scored the runs in those wins dilshan and sangakarra are long retired.
It is especially unlikely given they play a test series before the odi's.
Winning all 5 would seal it but realistically we need to win 3 out of 5, now 2 out of 4.

Yes and no. The Netherland matches were rescheduled. So WI will be played before the next 2 matches against Netherland will resume.
