Can someone tell me why Parnell keeps getting selected? The commentators keep talking about potential but I din't think I've ever seen it. His wickets tend to be caused by batsmen making mistakes rather than through any sort of bowling skill.

He can't bat either.

He was probably the bowler of the tournament in the previous World T20 and, IIRC, won us the game against Australia with the bat last year.
