SA A squad for West Indies A in November. The squad for the NZ series will likely come mostly from this squad + Elgar.

i wanted to see Jansen (not Marko his twin) in there.
would be amazing if we could get both to play for the proteas at the same time.
two tall Gangly left arm seamers that get a lot of swing doing the opening spell sounds like a dream

He has a SA20 contract. Pointless to pick him for this when he can't play vs NZ.

Looking forward to 2027:
Qdk retired won't be there retired
Temba will be 37, so probably won't be there
Rassie will be 38 so same as Temba
Aiden will be 33 and likely to captain the team
Heinrich Klaasen will be 36, touch and go if he makes it to 2027
David Miller will be 38 so same as rassie & Temba
Jansen will be 27. Needs to improve mentality.
Gerald Coetzee will be 27. Showed the mentality we need.
KG will 32. So still there.
Keshav will be 37, spinner so touch & go
Shamsi 37 so same as keshav. But less likely imho
Reeza Hendricks will be 38. So same as rassie & Temba.
Lizaad Williams will be 34 so unlikely
Andile phelukwayo will be 31. Still around if good enough
Lungi will be 31. So still around if good enough and fit enough.

Hopefully the likes of Brevis, Stubbs & Verreynne will have made their names in the shorter format for another assault on our most elusive prize.

Ferreira as well. The middle order should be fine but lacking opening options.
 
Our boys will have to dig deep to show up properly for the upcoming Indian tour of SA. I'm a loyal fan of the players, but not of the imposed off-field affirmative action pressures they have to contend with. The Proteas don't have a Rassnaber to protect and nurture them, sadly. That further steeles my resolve to back and encourage them rather than carp and crticise.
