The PS4 might change your future PC plans

Considering this is x86 tech I wonder how long it will be before somebody loads Windows onto it.
 
Give me steam on any console, and I'll dump my PC in a heartbeat. Hardware hasn't been an issue for me, just game prices :(
 
I went this route a while back already. Used to only jam on PC and upgraded my box on average every 6 months.
With Modern Warfare 2 I started playing quite a bit on XBox360 and got hooked. PC upgrades stopped right there.
Just under a year ago I built a new PC, and out of habit I built it as a gaming rig. It hardly ever saw a game. XBox still reigned supreme. So I sold it last week.

Because I jam mainly on console now, I am able to shift my focus related to PC needs. I prefer to go the ultrabook route now which suits my needs better PC wise, and leave gaming to the console. Ultrabook is docked with my 3 screens, keyboard, and mouse for daytime work and leaves with me at day end. Perfect!

I do miss having a desktop though. Will take a bit of time to get used to not having one.

That is fine if you can get used to fps with controllers which I cant!
I play mmos so that means its still going to be a pc for a long time. Dont think I have turned my xbox on in over a year...

Ya - took me a while to get used to it, but I did.
I will still stick to PC for my RTS games but they run fine on my notebooks and ultrabooks so happy there. Tried those on console and too difficult to manage.

+1, as a big PC gamer in the past, I also bought an XBox just to see what the hype is about. I mainly play on the XBox now and only do RTS on the PC. I'm also going to move to a Ultra book. And I'm also more on Linux now than in the past.
