ANC eThekwini councillor says 5G towers spread Covid-19, and 'whites have vaccine'

An ANC councillor in eThekwini is in hot water for suggesting there is no Covid-19, that that 5G cellphone towers are killing people and that white people have already been vaccinated.

The ANC in KwaZulu-Natal has condemned a voicenote from one of its councillors, Sfiso Mngadi, in which he shared conspiracy theories about links between 5G networks and Covid-19 and suggested that the eThekwini council consider disconnecting 5G towers.

"It's lunacy of the highest order, and you can quote me on that," party spokesperson in the province, Nhlakanipho Ntombela, told News24. "We condemn it."

So the question is how many Business Class flights for how many years for each honourable members could this bail out money buy on a private airline.

I’m sure if anyone with half a brain did that calculation they’d come to the conclusion it not only makes more sense for day to day cash flow but also solves any corruption problems and is infinitely more economical than the money sink that is a broken public airline.

I get 3,333 Business Class flights per month at 25k a pop for 10 heads.

And that’s being generous giving them international Business Class flights which they don’t need ever or even half of the time if we are being nice.

“White people were vaccinated about five months ago. There was a truck that distributed the vaccine in boxes and white people from all over the province, including places like Ixopo and Vryheid, went there to receive these boxes. It was given to white people only.”

The bottom line is SAA is here to stay, whether we like it or not :(

But if SAA went down, the free flights would still exist, just on a different airline, remember it is a part of the budget every year, has nothing to do with this money. They won't give it up just because SAA went down.

IMO I do not think that would work unless it is Cash upfront. Can you imagine BA sending ANC a monthly bill? It will never get paid. :ROFL:
 
Vaccine costs a few dollars. Let private sector bring it in and sell it for R5000.

Private sector keeps 50% of profit. Use the other 50% of profit to settle some SOE debt. Then ship everyone who can't afford the vaccine to Marion Island or somewhere.

Short-term COVID vaccine long term hospitals and education both are in bad shape in this country but we know SAA is governments short and long-term goals.
 
Spending on vaccines now are useless until we know whether (and/or how much) the current vaccines are effective against our new strain.
