Do you think the R10.5 billion currently allocated to SAA's rescue plan might be better spent on procuring a vaccine for Covid-19 or would it be better spent elsewhere?
 
Doesn't matter how we think it should be spent, if it goes to SAA it will be a waste, actually if it is allocated anywhere only a percentage will reach it's (needed) destination.
 
doesn't matter what we want, we all know very well where it will be spent,
propping up failing airlines and vanity projects like schools that get robbed just after opening.
or other vanity projects that involve new cars and extensions to their homes.

vaccine? I'm actually surprised one of the brain trust hasn't gone on record to say its White people poison.
and a plot by Western countries to invade SA.

Agree, but also education so we have enough people to staff those hospitals in the future.

Use it to buy a stake in Emirates or similar.
Then you have them run the airline, but you get a say in which routes to run.

Or let the comair management run SAA.
 
Vaccine would probably be the best employment of the funds. It is an item you buy and administer to people. Anything else would be too complicated and open to misdirection by various cadre interest groups.

An ANC councillor in eThekwini is in hot water for suggesting there is no Covid-19, that that 5G cellphone towers are killing people and that white people have already been vaccinated.

It would be better spent in Dubai. And so it will be. All vaccine procurement news from government is shrouded behind non-disclosure agreements. Wtf? Lol. Meanwhile countries like Columbia have already procured vaccines in a transparent manner. All SA is interested in is making it illegal for medical aids to provide the vaccine. Transparently corrupt communists already furthering their illicit fortunes.
