Would like to get an idea of what everyone is pulling off their 5G lines. By no means a "power" user but have never used so much bandwidth in my life. Habits also haven't changed expect for the fact that I'm watching more Netflix and Youtube now in 4k. Of course Netflix and YouTube will pump the best quality according to your line speed. Overall my experience so far on this product is 8/10.

That's about the same as my usage the last 13 months on Rain and MTN LTE.
Correct at time of going to press ( aka B618 router stats)

/inb4 monthly Tb users

I decided to leave some data for everyone else, so I have only used 135GB this month
I don't feel that's right though, most of the weekend I streamed from my Xbox, and its not rubbish quality streaming either (but not 4k)

4K is overrated anyway, Excessive.
Nothing wrong with HD or Ultra HD.

People forget the days of XGA

I'll check my usage when I get home. Curious to know why you rated it 8/10? I rate mine 10/10 simply because I no longer have to download updates over 4 days with a shitty 2meg ADSL line. I can also finally watch Twitch streams and my mother can finally connect her phone to the Wi-Fi and not cause copious amounts of lag.

25GB on the R250 4G off peak. Primary connection is fibre- that 25GB is just out and about usage for a couple of devices.

Bought it for the holidays- will see what the total is mid January.

A bunch of xbox one game updated and I downloaded a couple of new ones. Ohh and streamed two 4k 80GB movies from Google drive :)

My PC is on my 200Mbps fibre line though so that usage is not included.

Unexplained stability issues for me. Otherwise it would be a 10/10.

For me well basically the fact that Rain 5G does not work during loadshedding. It's very sensitive speed wise when moving the CPE around. Low upload speed is you are further away from the tower or indoor CPE. Carrier Grade NAT.

That is pretty much the only things frustrating me.

Price well it's amazingly well priced. Uncapped. Very nice low latency to EU. Fast speeds over 350Mbps for me.

So yeah pity about the cons but for someone who does not have fibre or can't get fibre for whatever reason or someone looking for fastest speed for the lowest price it's well a game changer. For someone that can have 1Gbps Vumatel fibre or 200Mbps Openserve fibre maybe not so much as these 2 are only marginally more per month ~R1500 vs R1000 but the cons do not apply here. Open nat. Faster upload speed. Works during loadshedding. Because it's cable you can move the routers/ont around and does not effect speeds.

Nothing wow but it is running well

So you haven't been doing speed tests then :D Also add some 4k monitors to the mix and watch it rise! @cavedog will be along shortly to take the heat off me

Lol, ok ok, I'll stream some 4k. Recently got a 4k tv, just need to find time to watch something and find some content.

Darn, None of my Xbox games, phones, computers, tabs, devices, car or anything have any significant updates available
