So NO mention AT ALL of what the actual 'Kwid 10th Anniversary Limited Edition' trim package actually entails?

Is it a few extra lurid interior embellishments, a garish sticker pack on the exterior, or a combination of both?

🤔

Renault is celebrating 10 years of the Kwid in India with the launch of a special 10th Anniversary Edition of the entry-level hatchback.

It is limited to 500 units and is priced at Rs 5.14 lakh for the manual transmission version and Rs 5.63 lakh (ex-showroom) for the AMT version.

The Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition comes in striking dual-tone colour schemes of Fiery Red with Black roof and Shadow Grey with Black roof. The car gets black Flex wheels, unique anniversary decals on the doors and C-pillars, and yellow grille inserts.

Inside, the special edition comes with 10th Anniversary-themed seat detailing with yellow accents, a leatherette steering wheel with metal mustard stitching, infotainment surround and door trims, illuminated scuff plates, and puddle lamps.

Renault has also introduced a new variant nomenclature for the Kwid. The old RXL and RXT variants have been renamed to Evolution and Techno, respectively.

2025 Renault Kwid ex-showroom prices:

  • Authentic MT – Rs 4,29,900
  • Evolution MT - Rs 4,66,500
  • Evolution AMT – Rs 4,99,900
  • Techno MT - Rs 4,99,900
  • 10th Anniversary Edition MT - Rs 5,14,500
  • Techno AMT – Rs 5,48,800

So that's an emphatic & MASSIVE (MyBB™️) YES to the lurid interior trim & garish exterior decal embellishments then... ;)

Released in India in 2025, the limited-edition package includes new “Shadow Grey” and “Fiery Red” exterior paint colours, each matched with a black-finished roof as standard. The special edition also features black “Flex Wheel” covers (on its 14-inch wheels) and anniversary decals on the doors and C-pillar. A yellow grille insert furthermore helps to set this model apart.

Inside, you’ll find yet more yellow accents on the seats (with the front pews furthermore gaining branding on their integrated headrests) as well as yellow stitching on the faux-leather-trimmed steering wheel. This mustard hue is repeated on the trim surrounding the infotainment system and on the interior door panels. Illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps round off the package.

So, just more 'lipstick on the pig' again - and STILL with the puny & anemic 1.0 litre 3-cylinder NA petrol engine - that's a REAL 'Speed Demon' up on the Highveld - you measure its 0-100 km/h times with a calendar... ;)
there is a 800 or 900cc option available in India also, so we didn't exactly get the absolute bottom of the barrel

Renault Kwid celebrates 10 years: unveiling the Anniversary Edition with stylish upgrades

A decade after its local debut, the popular Renault Kwid has been given a 10th Anniversary Edition cosmetic upgrade, limited to 300 units.

Positioned as an entry-level urban hatch, the Kwid has established itself as a consistent volume player in Renault’s local line-up with 72,000 units having found a home since its introduction.

Exterior

The Anniversary Edition introduces a number of visual changes aimed at setting it apart from the standard range.

A dual-tone finish with a contrasting black roof is paired with orange accent detailing across the body. Black flex wheels feature a unique design, while piano black finishes extend to the side mirrors.

The overall silhouette remains unchanged, retaining the Kwid’s crossover-inspired stance with raised ground clearance.

Interior

Inside the Kwid gets metal mustard detailing to the door panels and around the infotainment housing.

The steering wheel is finished in leather with orange stitching, while the seats receive special upholstery with anniversary signature.

The cabin layout and features remain consistent with the Techno specification, focusing on simplicity and ease of use in line with the car’s entry-level positioning.

Engine and drivetrain
The limited edition retains the same naturally aspirated 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine used across the Kwid range with 50kW and 91Nm, with a claimed combined fuel consumption figure of 4.9L/100km.

Transmission options include a five-speed manual and an automated manual transmission (AMT). The AMT is offered exclusively on the Techno and Climber derivatives.
