This one can be used to punt the ridiculous amount of money being asked by SANRAL.

I'll kick it off with a VW hatch doing the PTA to Sandton run home and back every day for 25 working days...

Was this email/sms bill or a posted paper bill?
 
My bill is currently on R2000. I only pass 1 toll daily. My brother's wife bill is at > R8000.
 
Was thinking of starting a thread like this :D

Mine is allegedly at R6 500 odd now, I haven't bothered to look though:whistle:
 
My bill is more than R3000, I'm going to get tagged, most of my colleagues and friends have. SANRAL wins... :(
 
Now the elections are over, the hammer will fall. 5 months of unpaid etolls at premium prices will make for a hefty bill. Hopefully these people kept the money just in case, otherwise its going to be painful.

I don't think it would be much of a storm, there aren't that many people paying.
 
Mine is R0 :D as I use the free sections for now.. I have suspicion they wanna make those non-free/put up additional guantries tho as I've seen them count traffic in the mornings along alt routes and then the other day they deployed traffic meters all the way to & the including on ramp o the highway :(
