Roigard was offside. If he wasn't, the tackle would not happen.

That's fair, in my mind.
 
They must also look at the forward pass before Hannekom's "controversial" tackle.

My point is, the Boks were well on top the whole game. Took them 32 phases to score a try at one point. Great job on them for managing to do so, but you can't play a rugby match like that for 80 minutes.

This is part of the problem, because when you go to Stuff.co.nz and over to Youtube, they moan about the referee because that's what they are fed on their television sets.

They are asking why the TMO went back to Roigard being offside.. I mean.

Nobody is ever better than them either. It's "Boks on roids" or "Ref crap" and "game was stolen from us" and "red card in final" etc etc.

For the record, they looked well on their way to be beaten before they got the red card in RWC 2023 and seemed to grow an arm and a leg after that.

I was quite surprised to see on the Breakdown that they are complaining about the TMO that went back to Roigard being offside at the ruck when the ref asked about the tackle off the ball.

Are they trying to suggest that the TMO should not mention clear offside and let a penalty try and yellow card stand? Crazy stuff.

I recall them mentioning how we were slowing down the game few of our players had cramps but when they were receiving attention then it was legitimate medical stoppage
 
I dont get the hype about ABs direction.

Might be pleasing to the eye, but they absolutely one dimensional. If anything they have regressed 25yrs, back to the type of rugby that had them struggling.

Its like they have completely forgotten the total rugby package they developed which made them the powerhouse they were 2011-2015.

The results flatter them, dont tell the reality of their side of story at all. Really do hope Im wrong, but Rennie imho. has proven himself still the same disaster he was at Aus and before with his antics in the media and the excuses.

You can copy paste many of his remarks, simply change it from Boks to NZ and you have the script he was playing when coaching Aussies.

The Boks impressed for the most part, but we have a problem at 10 as well as 9. Except for Krappies, no-one really putting their hands up, especially at 10, no, not even Libbok, who still undoes all his own hard work regularly with schoolboy errors that just shouldnt be happening at test lvl

Bok situation at least somewhar fixable shorterm, well at least hope it is. Im worried and baffled about the NZ niaivity/ignorance to the reality of their situation, time will tell I guess.

Flashy passing and going nowhere is their new dna. Every 10th time they break through. It will be amazing against Australia.

Against the boks not so much. We are on a different level now
