Strangely today, I never felt we were going to lose even though we were 1 man down in the 11th minute. Now we know some new things and yeah, we needed Mannie today. Thank goodness Italy kept on missing penalties and conversions!!

What game were you watching? He was outstanding. Saved us so many times with their kick in behind. Carried the ball well. They peppered him with the high ball you can’t expect a player to catch everything when every high ball is being contested.

Yes you will get a few wtf moments but you get the brilliance like that cross kick and his passing in the last 20 min that made our backline look better. Manie is not just a better passer than Pollard now his tactical kicking is also better. Cross kicks, up and under is far more accurate than Pollard. Him and Sacha do have the tendency to not kick the ball out from a penalty but you take the rough with the smooth.

Manie played very well. Just that last conversion that was a flop, but he has always had a long set up.

Why are the officials sanctioning a player that got his tackle technique wrong with the same sanction a player would get when they deliberately punch another player in the face with a fist?

That is my problem. Mostert should have just punched him lights out. Same sanction.

I thought the bunker is there to investigate and make decisions like this. When a player punches with his fist its clear there is no debate.
