There are some new players but looks like the Blitz boks have lost their momentum in 7s

We used to be comfortable because we know a win against GB, IRE, Kenya, Spain, USA is a given. Now the lowest ranked teams can easily win us.

It was really painful to see the number 8 next to RSA. After placing 8th in Hong Kong. I don't recall seeing it that low before.
 
Bliksem. The Stormers are running through the Dragons like It's nothing.

We took / are busy taking the Dubai 7s gold( at worst silver) comfortably, 21-0 21-5 at HT against Ire in the final so far :cool:

It was a good performance to get the win. Really good. I'm impressed by it and the loss against GB didn't matter.

Well done.

I'm glad the first loss didn't snowball like in Hong Kong. Brilliant performance.
 
The way the commentators were talking up Ireland and then berating the officials saying that is a poor call I thought for a moment they were Irish...

I wanted to come here and say NEVER with all those handling errors they made in the first 20 but then they ended up giving Cardiff a big hiding.

'Grave worry' for missing Boks winger Nkosi

Springboks winger Sbu Nkosi has been missing for three weeks, his South African club side Bulls said on Saturday, with police admitting "concerns about the player's safety".

Nkosi, 26, a Rugby World Cup winner three years ago, made the last of his 16 test appearances in October 2021 but missed out on this year's Autumn Nations Series with a rib injury.

The Bulls said Nkosi has not been heard from since November 11.

"After numerous failed attempts, which include but are not limited to phone calls, texts messages, calls to relatives, partner and close friends as well as four house visits to his known place of residence, the company took the decision to open a missing person case with police on Thursday 17 November 2022," the Bulls said in a statement.

"This resulted from the grave worry and concern of everyone at Loftus as well as the need for the expert assistance of the South African Police Services.

"We appreciate both the public and media interest in the matter, as we all share the same concerns about the player's safety," they added.

Later on Saturday, the Pretoria-based Bulls host Welsh outfit Cardiff in the United Rugby Championship.

It was a proper hiding in the end.

We ended up taking the kids again. Joined by a colleague and his family.

And I have to say. For a relatively small crowd it was one of the best atmospheres on the grand stand.

Yet again I am in awe of Kurt Lee. Man was instrumental in a few tries. And a beast again on defence.

Some guy is also probably spending the night in a jail cell after two guys streaked (clothed) over the field.
The first guy ran straight for the exit. The other thought he will get away by simply going back to his seat. Security just walked over to him and swiftly escorted him out.
