Ground curators must do something about this turf. I suspect it was originally put down as a soccer field but if they're going to now be playing regular rugby, this simply won't do.

Good. Wales was good hey. It was given to the boks they had to really fight for it.

Real feisty showing from the boys. Not the complete performance but all over Wales. I think really good prep for the AB's. Kolbe the only concern it seems.

What a win. Well done.

Wonder if Wales is still on a warning?

Can't watch the Argentina game. The audio is a joke. Load noises in the audio.

Yeah, lol. I binned watching it at half time. Not sure what is going on there.

As an aside, I thought Augustin Creevy had long since retired but he's still there, getting into refs' faces.

Bloemfontein at R500.00 for us, was a total waste, the Bokke, had no idea what to do. There was no leadership ... , no bugger all ...

Total waste of money.
Absolutely worth it today!
My voice is near gone from the shouting

I was 10 rows up from the pitch, could smell the grass (and see all the subsequent holes in it)

Boks brought the hurt yesterday! Played with the sort of violence and brutality Springbok rugby has become famous for. The Welsh did well to stay in touch but that was a decent 16 point victory.

Was a bit of an ugly win. I honestly don't enjoy our style of rugby. Don't believe it is sustainable either. It's difficult to be that direct and abrasive week after week after week.

We have the pack to go toe with toe with anyone in world rugby but our backs are some what pedestrian. It didn't help losing Kolbe early on. They adapted well with Am on the wing and restricting Wales to a single try suggests a decent effort on D.

Anyway, next 2 tests are against NZ with the first being played in Nelspruit on the 6th August followed by Ellis Park on the 13th. All Blacks are in a world of hurt right now. I expect them to be working hard over the next 2 weeks in preparation but we have a golden opportunity to put 2 over them and exasperate their deficiencies a year out from the world cup.

Well done, Bokke. Much better performance and a win with some daylight to spare.
I still got frustrated with the "soft" penalties that kept Wales in the game. The worrying thing is that in all the games, Wales mostly had an answer for our rolling mauls which is a concern as it is a big part of our play. But all in all a good win and now looking forward to the All Black games. I think they will be better and we should expect hard matches against them.

Many points left out there over the weekend.

On a different day Mapimpi doesn't put a foot in touch, de Allende's try is awarded and the pass is not forward. Not to mention the run by Am at wing on the touchline could probably have been a try had Kolbe been the man with the ball.

Willemse held by a player on the ground as he was darting to the tryline.

Wales were lucky to escape sanction and the game would have unfolded differently. Still feel the Boks could have won by 25+.
