Not as strong a point as you want it to be. For 2 of those cups there were basically only 2 teams from the South competing, Aus & NZ. Bokke only join in at the 3rd one and Argentina only started to develop in the last 10 years or so. Statistical, of course that would mean teams from Europe making the final (in the past that is).

False, they've been in 3 and won once. Bokke has also been in 3 and won all 3, twice against England nogal.
Mind you, every single cup final featured a team from the South.

My bad, missed 2003. Still, a success rate of 25% is nothing to brag about.
On current form they have very little hope of making this year's final.

The game was exceptional from a Bok perspective and I will savor the win, it is a record one after all. Some hard work and analysis will follow on the AB Camp and even harder words will fall. I think they will come out snorting in that opening game against France. We definitely didn't do...

Fact is World Rugby stuffed up the draw by doing it so early. That Wales, Australia and even England have a realistic chance of reaching the Semi Finals and thus the final, is a travesty for the sport as they have very poor teams.
