They've cleaned up the precinct in preparation for this fixture. You are going to experience the most incredible rugby outing on the planet. SA vs NZ at Ellis Park is the pinnacle of the sport IMHO!!

Afrihost directors treated a couple of us staffers to a box ticket experience. I got invited. I'm super amped.

Never been to Ellis Park before. Was always scared to go with the URC because well Hillbrow is like the sewage of SA.

Damn dude, I suspected as much. OMG, it's going to be unreal!!! People make a lot of noise about how shitty the precinct is and it is but the area immediately surrounding the stadium is secure and monitored. There's been a major effort recently made, to make the experience a safe and pleasurable one!

You got to post pics and videos pal!!
 
PS just on the safety issue, in all the years I've been going to Ellis Park, I've only ever once experienced a safety issue. It was a car guard getting beaten within an inch of his life, by a group of drunk spectators. The real threat comes from within, not the homeless and hungry outside the stadium. Trust me on this one..
