Valid point, but I just dont know with him. He was totally out of his depth, and the AB's admitted they had a plan to target him. Guess what, it worked.

Yup, it worked like a bomb. They targeted him mercilessly. The trick now will be for the Bok coaches and management to adapt. We targeted their ruck and ability under the high ball in Nelspruit and they adapted, learnt from it and improved a week later in Jhb. So why can't we do the same for Dweba against Aus...? I believe Dweba's lineout and scrum issues are technical which can be rectified, hence my assertion that to toss him out is removing culpability from those meant to be guiding him.

His short arm free kick in the first scrum of the game was a technical infringement, something of which the AB's fell foul of in the second half. That is coachable! "Josesph, in the scrum, don't do this...!" How hard can that be.

An analogy of the Nz win on Saturday.

You’ve been invited to a house party with lots of hot dollies and at first you’re a bit shy and don’t get into a good conversation with anyone (0-15). But then things start to look up when you gather the balls to start chatting to a pretty girl (10-15). You make an inappropriate joke (13-21) but the girl still likes you (20-21). She whispers in your ear that she wants you (23-21). You find a room. As she gets undressed her sexy girlfriend enters the room. They’re feeling naughty and both get undressed (yellow card). They are now both naked on the bed, kissing each other and beckoning you to join. You decide to message all your buddies first to tell them how amazing your night is going (box kick). The girls are annoyed with you and tell you to go **** yourself (23-28). As they leave you realise you texted your wife (23-35)

Earlier in the thread, I had worries about Dweba's throwing. Not saying he doesn't deserve to be there but I had concerns because we've seen it before. Dweba hardly played for his club in France as well from what I understand.

I don't think the conditions suited our kicking game that much either. It's challenging to be that accurate with the wind we had in JHB on Saturday. I felt we should have rather tried pinning them with territorial kicks in this game.

Still, I felt we should have started better. In the one game, the All Blacks are not behind in the first 20 and win.

Anyway, if we can win a game in Australia for a change I will see that as improvement, albeit probably not as much as they have 17 injuries.

The problem is if not Dweba, then who else? Mbonambi has been ruled out for four weeks and to go over with just Marx and Deon Fourie is risking a lot. Dweba's performance on Saturday was well below par but to summarily dismiss him after one performance may be premature.

I actually think that he can be a great player. He just need some extra work with the coach and he will be good. For one the line out throw. He really need to get that right always. We attack from there so we can't be compromised there.

Guys... cool it. No team in the world wants to play the ABs after the humiliation they suferred at Mbombela.

The Dweba hate is really unjustified. Yes he had a bad day at the office, but considering that he was a late injury replacement, that he had bongi sized shoes to fill, and that the ABs were gonna go hard at him as a newbie in the team, its kinda understandable.

Seriously, you guys think that the guy next in line to Bongi and Marx is not deserving of his spot in the team. If theres one thing we know is that the Bok setup is very meticulous when it comes to selection not only of the 23 but the bigger squad overall. there are clear plans for players.

Dweba will be a better player for this experience. just look at both bongi and marx. They've both had howlers in the bok jersey and have come back stronger to the point that they are the best hookers in the world for some time now.

What a win by the Women Boks

37 - 14 against Spain and that wraps up the series 2 - 0 for the Spring Boks women team. They are looking good.

Also great win by the South Africa U18 against England U18.

40 - 24

Pity Willie has been dropped. He's been pretty good coming off the bench in the last few games. No Jasper Wiese neither.

Disappointed Jasper isn't starting!! He's a bit of a work horse. Not so sure about Duane's fitness.

Agree, Willie gives our back line some impetus on attack. Perhaps the selectors prefer the physical presence of a FS?

Quite excited to see Gelant get a start on the wing.

Will be interesting to see Australia's match day squad. They've been handicapped by multiple injuries to key personnel. Australian rugby lacks depth. Argentina absolutely hammered their 2nd team.

Jasper Wiese has had a few discipline issues recently so I wonder if that counted against him. Alternatively, maybe it's just a rest and rotational thing. Definitely keen to see what Gelant can offer. Hopefully his URC form can transfer to the international stage.

Gelant made his debut all the way back in 2017 and he only has 10 caps to his name to date. Been on the fringes for a long time now.

Do we have a MyBB Superbru group for the URC? I see we can join pools.

Not thrilled with faf back as the nr 9 . Prefer hendrikse. Faf's service is so slow these days.

I would have kept Willie as an option instead of Elton.
