Interesting that they are playing a few days before the test. Even though it's not the main team.

and they are basically playing the French-Barbarian team which has beaten the English. Neither team, Japan and France, are at their strongest, but Japan in my view is going to get hammered.

Apparently, it will be a warm and humid day in Japan, so perhaps the conditions suit them. I still see France beat them by no less than 20 points. I might be wrong.

The reason the Japan team isn't at strength is that their 'all-star' roster is mostly unavailable, and some regulars have apparently come down with Covid and thus isn't selected.

Seems like France really turned it on in the second half against Japan. And NZ are threatening to rack up a cricket score against Ireland.
 
England and Australia looked like they put on quite the show.
