Very grateful for the 2 week break.

Wasn't easy but a second final. Munster shooting themselves in the foot by not taking 3's.

The way Munster had to fight for that win. I fear it's a new power house of a Munster side and the Stormers cannot slip on defence or line outs like they did against Connacht. It's going to be an intense final.

Munster have a huge fanbase and they do tend to travel so should be an epic crowd.

Come on Stormers. All the luck gone your way thanks to finishing 3rd ironically, losing to Munster.

Do it!

Luckily Stormers lost due to bad kicking by Libbok. Let that spur them on.

I sat behind the tryline where he made that pass. Couldn't believe my eyes. I want to say that Im over the drinking of beer after this weekend @R40 a beer. But I think will have to endure it again next weekend.

It's a next level experience. I was at Newlands the day the Stormers played the Chiefs when Dillon Leyds provided that sensational offload to SP Marais. If Newlands had a roof, it would have been blown off. In fact, for nostalgia's sake...

Great win by the Stormers after the iffy & nervy opening minutes. Connacht really came at them and at times I thought they were going to win. Hats off to the Stormers showing composure, talent and awesome defense to win by some distance in the end. Also, that final try - what a gem and moment of brilliance!
Munster showed grit and determination to beat Leinster. That drop goal at the end - wow! should be an awesome final in 2 weeks time. Hope they can get the playing surface up to standard. Looks more like a mud-wrestling pit that a rugby pitch.

Hopefully, the Stormers get their lineout spot-on. RG and co really made life tough for them last time out.

It feels like a Dweba issue, and unfortunately he also doesn't stand out on the attacking/crash ball phase of the game. Which is weird if you look at his size. Personally I think that Johan Grobbelaar is just a better hooker than he is, why we couldn't just sign him still makes me a bit frustrated.

WP's next two home Currie Cup matches (vs Pumas and Lions) have been moved to the Athlone Stadium in an effort to give the surface at the CPT Stadium time to recover before the URC final in two weeks time. Good call I reckon.

Has Newlands been completely decommissioned?
