World cup draw for us is bad.

The top 5 teams in ranking in the world are in the same half. That means current one of two really weak teams Australia and England will make the final.
Yip, well documented, his analysis is spot on!!

2 of either France, SA, NZ or Ireland won't make it past the quarter finals....

This is how I predict it will play out.... I've included SA's route for reference but I think we will battle to make it out the pool stages...

Pool A - winner France, runner up NZ
Pool B - winner Ireland, runner up SA
Pool C - winner Australia, runner up Wales
Pool D - winner England, runner up Argentina

Quarter finals
QF1 - Australia v Argentina
QF2 - Ireland v NZ
QF3 - England v Wales
QF4 - France v SA

Semi finals
SF1 - Australia v NZ
SF2 - England v France/SA

Final

France/SA v NZ

SA, provided we make it out of the pool stages, which is certainly not a given, will meet either NZ or France in the quarter finals.

Ireland will meet either NZ or France in the quarter finals.

Those are 2 massive quarter final fixtures....

Scotland as risk of not making the playoffs.

France at risk of being knocked out in the quarter finals.

It's a horrendous draw!! HORRENDOUS!!

Yup, terrible. Ireland is at risk of yet again going out in the quarters.

I don't think this is correct, similiar to how we played the 2007 final against England who were in our group and how the 2019 WC, we could've played against NZ in the final had they beaten England instead of losing.

Unless the match making system has been changed for this WC, the two sides of the draw are only guaranteed at having representation up to semi final lvl, not final.

The final can still be between any of NZ, SA, France or Ireland and can even be between two teams from the same group.
Yeah just saw the semi finals cross the two halves of the draw. The graphic was a bit misleading

Rugby confuses me. Weird words and curry.
Not a rugby fan/follower ? Currie Cup was named after Sir Donald Currie. He was the owner of a company that transported the touring British Lions side to South Africa. On his instruction, the cup that was in his possession, was to be given to the SA team that gave the visiting Lions its best game. Later, the cup was handed over to SA rugby and was awarded to the best SA team, competing in the Currie Cup competition.

I bet sir Don makes a mean bunny chow.

On the positive side, I am grateful we have a tougher pool, in terms of preparing us for the knockout games. In 2019 I felt we went into the semi (against Wales) undercooked. Our most formidable opponent before that game was our opener against NZ and Japan in the Quarters.

The Baby Boks are in action next against Italy on Thursday, 16H00. Good luck, boys!
They won their opener against a plucky Georgia side but it wasn't all smooth sailing. Hoping for an improvement against the Italians.

Nice, that is how you create a new generation of racist people. For a lot of kids events like this are just the final straw tipping them into the racist mindset. Lots of hard work down the drain due to quotas, just when the talk around quotas in rugby died down enough.

Plus, more rugby players leaving SA.
