No one even mentioned the textbook penalty kick by Mngomezulu from 51m out, straight through the middle of the uprights... that was legendary, placed the ball down, cool and calm, kick... right over the dead ball line behind the posts!
Plenty of depth in this Bok team!
 
As I turn on the Bulls game Glasgow score their try in the second half, and has only gone terribly wrong since

The ref was shít but bulls completely fscked it up for themselves there at the end.
 
I'm just glad the Springboks don't play like the Bulls. Needing a try in the last 5 minutes against a team with a man down and the strategy is to keep passing to your forwards and hoping, eish.
 
That was the worst attacking rugby I ever saw from the Bulls. Where was the backline switch plays and the stack attacks that got them in the final.

Why did they change their gameplay completely.

I have no idea why they played like this today. Surely one player (Willie) cannot make such a huge difference.

Yes it was weird. The Bulls never played like that. Ruck pass Ruck pass Ruck pass. Glasgow was just brave had a well aligned defensive line and attacked when the Bulls made mistakes.
 
Phew, as much as I wanted the Bulls to win, bloody good effort to travel that distance and beat them at Loftus.

Yip. Glasgow deserves every inch of that win. Epic defense. Tough game, tough loss for Bulls but better side won. The absence of Willie and Canan hurt the Bulls attacking prowess but Glasgow went toe to toe with them upfront. Sucks but deserved.

Didn't think the ref was bad maybe the rush refense was slightly offside a few times but overall ref had a decent game. Bulls were shocking considering they had a home final and didn't even have trvael. Still great effort to reach the final hopefully next year the lads step it up. Credit to Glasgow they defended really well and 3 tries to 1 says it all, at least we had a few saffas in the squad!
