That ireland nr10 is the most akward son of a bitch to ever play rugby. Zero athleticism
 
So it's either a French or an English team that will win the Challange & Champions cup this year. Damn
 
Watching sf2 of the Champions cup and the commentator said "the 2 best teams in France with stars from 8 other nations"

Hard to compete with these guys if they buy international talent so extensively.

Honestly, the system didn't appear to be on the pitch tbh. Compared to previous matches, the players were non-existent on defensive positioning etc.
 
SA U20 coming unstuck against Australia this evening. 24-29 after being 17-0 after 44 minutes.

The starting 9 looked at sea tonight, never seemed to know who to pass to our which way to go. Was slow and cumbersome at times. Our defence was weak from broken play, lineouts a mess, kick receipt inaccurate at times, not connected on defence with our defensive lines easily fractured.. got bossed at the breakdowns, cleaners late and/or passive... I thought that try before halftime was good. Unlucky to be over turned. Very disappointing game. Missed a few scoring opportunities. Mars made little to no impact. His kicking from hand is average at this level so he's picked for his attacking prowess, which was not on display tonight. But he's not the reason we didn't win.

We started well and I was like we are walking this then the wheels came off the wagon very quickly and they seemed lost not sure what to do.

After tonights performance I find it very hard to think we have a chance against NZL which means NZL will likely win plus there will be a lot of NZL supporters...
 
2nd half was a disaster. We got a good record against NZ at U20 level though. The boys will be up for it.

Conditioning maybe?

It's perplexing to me, how we can claim to have the strongest schoolboy league in the world but consistently under perform at U20 level. 9 3rd place finishes in 14 U20 world cups...
