Except for Bok games I don't follow local rugby anymore the last few years.
But geez, what happened that we don't have good loose forwards anymore.?
We basically have Kolisi and PSTD that are world class. The rest is just average.
Where are the good 8thmen since Vermeulen retired?

Helluva test that!! Veeeery physical!! Aussies have been good value! Really impressive!

I thought we would run away with it in the 2nd 40, with the Aussie backs dropping like flies! They've got some squad depth and boy are they going to need it for the next 4 matches. White, Joseph and Wright broken in that 1st half.

That whipping Kwagga tackle to knock White senseless is no more or no less than he deserves.

Boks made plenty errors and still won. Eben's pass to touch with Jessie and an open tryline in front of him, was indicative of how inaccurate we were at times. Some would argue they were more polished at Ellis Park but the tactical kicking tonight was on point and Pollard, with 6 from 6, is simply untouchable.

Anyway.... I think the Aussies have played their best rugby this season. I can't see them sustaining, while the Boks have got work to do. Accuracy is still lacking and practically zero return from the scrums tonight. Surprising! Maybe an indication of how far Australia have come since last season. Aussies found a lot of space at times. Our defense is nowhere near as sharp as it has been.

As for this game.
Williams poor, keep swinging his arms at the ref, while the ball could have gone a long time ago.
Forwards, except for Marx nothing worth mentioning.
Backs, just Pollard, De Allende and Cheslin that had relatively good games.
Eish and that backline can just not fire without Manie.

Same here , in 10 to 15 years our rugby will be with the bottom feeders .
Kids in general are not more interested in rugby

There might be a few more I'm missing.

Yes like I said, we only have 2 world class loose forwards, all those you name are average.

I disagree, those are very good players who would make a big difference.
