The EFF’s decision to topple the IFP in KwaZulu-Natal hung municipalities, on Monday appeared to have backfired, with some red beret councillors in the province rumoured to be on verge of dumping the EFF.

The EFF councillors, some of whom told The Witness that they were not happy with the party’s national leadership’s directive that they should work with the ANC to dislodge the IFP from power in KZN’s hung municipalities, said they could join an EFF splinter organisation.

Yes I know, that's why I brought it up. There is no way in a thousand sundays that an ANC/DA will ever work.
It entirely depends on how things are set up and how negotiations go. But even if this were to happen (hopefully not), I don't think DA would go into this without strict T&Cs...

Like GHL, I'd only begrudgingly accept such a thing if there's a real chance that ANC and EFF will coalesce post-elections.

I thin pan ANC/EFF coalition is pretty unlikely tbh.

Strict Ts&Cs like in the jhb coalition? The paper is worth more than the Ts&Cs in this place.
