Just interested to see whether DA retain Winde come next election.

Logically it would be the best thing to do but he has been losing them votes from the conservative electorate due to his lockdown stance and attitudes towards the anti-vaxx community.
 
No one can ever accuse the guy of lack of enthusiasm in his job, a bright future awaits him, even outside of politics, employers would like to have someone like him.
At least he has a PhD, otherwise he wouldn't have known to open the bottle first...

People won't see it but he is a businessman first and foremost and the bulk of his money comes from things outside politics. He just uses politics as a tool upon which to leverage more opportunities for himself and his connections.

It's pretty much the case with all the political parties.

Politics for these guys is like WWE. They go into kayfabe during parliament etc and then go into business mode behind closed doors. Some attend braais with people they argue with in parliament in real life.
