'Highly offensive' and 'in bad taste': Peter Marais told to apologise for ANC 'foreigners' remark | News24

Freedom Front Plus MPL Peter Marais has refused to apologise for comments made during a sitting of the Western Cape legislature earlier this month, in which he referred to ANC members as 'foreigners'.

But as we all know him...
However, Marais refused to apologise.

He intends to challenge Mitchell's ruling.

He remarked during the sitting:

Everything that has been flung at me you have not been privy to.
Mitchell requested for a second time that Marais withdraw his remarks.

"I am not withdrawing. I am stating a historical fact. I can prove this," he said.

Mitchell then asked Marais to leave the chamber.

He complied, hurling insults at Mitchell along the way.

"You'll never be respected while you bend to them (the ANC)," he said as he walked.

This might be OT... But this stupid tweet made me think about things regarding load-shedding recently...

After the Annika Larsen interview (i.e. When De Ruyter was finally fired) and now after the "shutdown" by CiC, it seems to me (and yes I know I'll sound like a conspiracy theorist. Caps on guys.) as if load-shedding stages just magically started to disappear... It makes no sense to me... Just a month and a bit ago, we were on Stage 4 - 6, with people mauling to buy solar and people talking about blackouts... Now all of a sudden, we're Stage 1 - 3...? I mean if it was a longer period, like 2 - 3 months+ and this happened then sure, but... This quickly? Nah, I don't buy it.

Can you imagine when these shenanigans get repeated at the national level if the ANC and EFF hobble together a coalition of the corrupt smaller parties. 1 percenter criminals and frauds will be falling over themselves to get elected king maker alongside the big dog kingpins ANC and EFF mafia.

Ya'll better hope and pray Frans Cronje gets proven wildly wrong about the UF in 2024.

Looks like stage 4 loading, coal down to 18GW from 20 and using OCGTs on a sunday after 5 days of using pumped storage hard:

One logical conclusion to make is that some units have been removed from maintenance and brought back into service and possibly that miraculously money was "found" to buy lots more diesel. So in a nutshell just kicking the can down the road again.

My personal opinion is that the cartels were given free reign towards the end of de ruyters tenure and were gorging. Now thst he's gone they've been told to be more circumspect so things magically get better in short order.

I still think there is shadow load shedding. This morning we were off from 6 to 8. It was not on schedule and zero explanation provided.

The shenanigans have been happening with the DA led coalition, have you forgotten that all along COPE was part of that coalition? Their councillors going rogue, the DA coming up with silly ways to vote that has resulted in an ATM councillor being elected a Speaker, now they have to pass a motion of no confidence to try correct their mess.

Apparently the Liberation Movement has instructed the cartels to stop sabotaging Eskom because De Ruyter is gone, so you can look forward to more of this new normal, that is according to the great minds of MyBb.

In the same breath the great minds also go on to tell us that this is going to be very short lived, no idea what is going to happen, maybe the cartels are going to go rogue and ignore Malum Gweezy's instructions, or is it Dabede's instructions?

Also, violence between the various factions for control over the goose that lays golden eggs will increase.
