If we look at the patterns of this, Gwenn may well have issues with the leadership.

The common pattern is that she resigned on the eve of Fed Ex elections. Her first resignation came on the eve of the 2019 elections.

Her BF Gareth Van Onselen started becoming more critical of the DA in his writings a few weeks ago.

So you're telling me that while she was Head of Policy for the DA- she was applying for jobs at AirBNB on LinkedIn?

Both could be true. It's possible to still get along with people but not agree with their leadership/strategy. It was how Mandela dealt with his opponents and why a lot of people respected him.

Her issues with Maimane did seem personal.

No. Gwenn was different. She was actually born Sinethemba but mentioned in one of her podcasts that she changed her name because "she did not like it".

Sinethemba is actually a much better sounding name than Gwenn.

She also stood for UCT SRC elections as Amanda Ngwenya Circa 2010.

I would hazard a guess that she impressed some people at AirBnB whilst engaging with them about DA policy direction within the WC or something along those lines....

Jeez you talk nonsense. I know what the DA pays at lower levels (well 2014 and 2019 salaries) and it's pathetic compared to the private sector. AirBnB probably offered her equity as well on top of her enormous pay increase. It's as simple as that.

Or she's just doing the logical thing that the vast majority of skilled South African's who don't want to live in a failed 3rd world African slum are doing: emigrate to a functioning country where their skills and expertise are valued.

Imagine spending your entire life earning rands and then getting to retire in a failed state with no electricity, water, or functioning government and you're left holding some worthless paper. She made a good logical choice!
