The SA Politics Thread Part 3

Yebo, praise Cassim, who do you think the worshippers were going to blame if things worsened, De Ruyter?
You are just being stupid because you have some kind of racial axe to grind. Cassim is still to new to evaluate. What did he do?

If Cassim was a Ruan De Venter, WEE networks would have been praising him for the turnaround.
Another loser crying for the approval of your imaginary white enemy. Make up your mind, this is contradictory.

He may have been by some people, for me he is at best a seat warmer to "hold the fort" until they find a replacement for De Ruyter. He won't institute any major changes, or make a fundamental difference to the organisation.
While the Eskom is an SoE under the control of cANCer and its cadres, no significant changes will occur.

Anyone that believes that Eskom will turn around under the current "management", no matter who the "CEO" is, is delusional

"Turnaround"

And if it does turn around then the cartels were paid off, we have reasonable explanations for everything.

What updates have Eskom given on certain improvements out of interest?

And to be less "brief", the improvements are a combination of things, maintenance probably finally paying some dividends, a slightly increased pressure from government to reduce LS at all reasonable costs, and criminal activity slacking off somewhat.

To dismiss the fact that the criminal element within the Eskom ecosystem hadn't been weaponised against Andre de Ruyter (and even possibly Cyril) is to be incredibly fscking naive at just how self centred out political elite can be,.
The update where they talked of the best performing stations. It was last week or something.

I have no doubt that the criminals who live off of Eskom would have actively resisted De Ruyter's efforts. He had come "between a Nagzul and its meal" and couldn't be allowed to succeed. Gwede calling him a "policeman" was telling. But you suggesting they were told to cool it by faceless "they" is still nonsense.

Can't say the cartels will have a meaningful hand in turning Eskom around... they may make the turnaround less painful or long, if they are "broken" as it were... but beyond that nope.

True, the same criminals would resist anyone's efforts, unless the new guy simply by not being a De Ruyter is somehow in cahoots with te criminals, because De Ruyter is the only incorruptible CEO in the world.

So they actually didn't detail anything, just that "these stations are performing better" then

And no, me saying they were told to cool it by some "faceless" is not nonsense, we know that the ANC is effectively a mafia organisation and it is more than believable that these criminal organisations run under the auspices of senior ANC members/politicians and that they had been weaponised against De Ruyter, and now that the "evil white man" is gone, they've been told to cool it.

You're being deliberately obtuse.

There's obvious cozying up between the EFF and the ANC in GP however, anyone with eyes can see. It's no big secret.
I meant a link to verify that such a protest is happening, in the interest of not spreading fake news on the forum, we all want that, don't we?
