TBF, Gayton and the PA have been open. They have made it clear that they will go into coalition with whoever gives them the most jobs, be it the ANC or DA.

DA can try and arrest their growth by focusing initiatives on trying to win back the coloured voters they are bleeding to PA like the initiatives they took to win back votes from the VF+ (which seem to be proving unsuccessful) but they don't seem interested in wanting to win back lost votes to the PA.

The PA have been open about it, but at the same time there is an element of ethics involved that you are now IN government with "x" positions, you don't go around trying to collapse that government to possibly get an additional position or a different position... its not conducive to government functioning in the short term which is what is sorely needed in most municipalities..

I am also still very much of the opinion that the PA may be growing for the moment in areas, the more time they spend in bed with the ANC/EFF the shorter the entities lifespan will be. The coloured vote will care about the right now in terms of service delivery, but the more macro picture will soon start to come to the fore and the PA won't come out smelling like roses.
 
We have a new presidential attribute, poor thing is no longer just shocked at the poor state that they transformed South Africa into, he's now disturbed as well..

Who knows, one of this day all these emotions may actually cause him to catch a wake up, but I somehow doubt it.
Still, poor thing, being lambasted so by feelings of recognition of his ANC failures..

Yeah, apparently she got close to the illegal tobacco meme and imploded the Zuma regime's studios.

And so they used the typical tactics on her, false charges, smear campaigns, etc. then replace her with a comrade...

Btw how did she even end up as a DA MP?

At the very least IFP, FF+ and ASA will attend the convention...

She became one after leaving NPA iirc.

Remember when I posted my "conspiracy theory" about the sudden positive change in load-shedding and that I didn't trust it?

And then shortly afterwards you proposed that it's possibly thanks to Cassim that the load-shedding has improved so much and that we must praise him like "we do ADR" apparently...

Hence, my sarcasm.

What mental leap have you taken to get an anti-ANC comment from Jack as him now being a DA supporter?

Of course Cassim has been doing a great job at Eskom, under very difficult circumstances, but nowhere did I say he has solved loadshedding.
