Yeah. The good old days when we still believed democracy worked and all people should vote. How silly does this view of the NP now look.

Voting for the NP repeatedly despite them making SA a pariah regime in the eyes of the world was objectively stupid and a reason we are in the mess we are in.

There's a good reason the DA has never gone anywhere in the past 10 years while the ANC was losing busy votes.
Yes. Many reasons. Failed experiments. They modeling themselves after European style socialist. Flip-flopping on BEE. Part of this is Zille's fault as she doesn't have the courage to stick with real classical liberal values. Part of it is just people being too stupid to vote

Some nonsense twitter argument has nothing to do with it

Still confusing the NP with the conservative party.
The NP is the one responsible for ending apartheid. The "world" gave FW de klerk, the president of the NP a nobel piece price.

The idiots had to end apartheid because they ran the country to the ground and had no choice. Until his death, De Klerk believed in the framework for Apartheid. It was the human rights abuses that he apologized for.

They were continuously winning elections when they strongly campaigned for segregation.

Whut? Voting for the EFF is objectively really stupid. They don't hav to vote for my party there's 200 others better than the EFF.

In terms of SA, democracy works much better.

Under non-democracy, the electorate was electing a regime that suppressed information, putting mail bombs. Even Helen Zille was threatened.

We have much better freedoms now.

and Zimbabweans have the land.

"better freedoms" can mean very little under a thoroughly corrupt and self serving regime that has the arrogance and disdain given to it by having the majority of votes and few real checks and balances. Maybe "bitter freedoms" is more accurate?

You described the Apartheid Government.

No doubt mail bombs were used, but targeting specific people. At the same time people were searched at entrances to malls, shopping centers and business's as the ANC were in a habit of planting bombs there, any one was a target.

A new era, it's like a new dawn but better, Panyaza hard at work.

The ANC is still heading well south of 50.0 percent in Gauteng in 2024 no matter what this clown promises.
