It's not okay but it makes sense as far as the SIU is concerned, if no money changed hands then no SIU, criminal cases can be dragged on forever, unlike the SIU civil cases.

Yeah I know, they're trying to basically defang the SIU, hopefully some money has changed hands though.

Yep, the guy Manzini Zungu has a good thing going as far as his businesses are concerned, I suspect he might not want the SIU close to him as they might just stumble on something.

I would hazard a guess (and partly hope) that the SIU's interest has been piqued already so this walking away from the contract thing isn't going to stop them

Are they truly that stupid that they don't know how to look in a mirror? I wonder whether a quick glance in the reflection off the water of any of the millions of potholes they're responsible for would help?
