True. The US are effectively demanding that we act the neutral we claim to be instead of supporting Russia and being hostile to the west. It seems the US have been talking to SA behind the scenes without much traction so they called that press briefing to force SA to commit a position. The SA government like to use their megaphone against the west but get uncomfortable when the tables are turned.

Selling ammo to both sides is neutral. We should also allow Ukraine to buy ammo if they wish.

Just delay the shipping by a year or two

It doesn't really work, but if you have to do the comparison that is the most correct as the ANC is certainly more like the Democrats.

Good party expels two senior officials involved in sex party
The Good party has announced its national management committee has decided to expel two senior party members, Shaun August and Felicity Klazen.
August was the party's national organiser and a member of the Western Cape legislature, while Klazen was a councillor and the deputy mayor in the Witzenberg Municipality in the Western Cape.
They were accused of hosting sex parties fuelled by alcohol, instead of campaigning during a hotly contested by-election in the Witzenberg municipality last year.

'The US Ambassador can't change ANC resolutions' - Mokonyane
ANC deputy secretary-general Nomvula Mokonyane says the ANC's resolutions taken at its December conference regarding Russia and the US 'stand'.
Mokonyane was commenting on Friday, a day after US ambassador Reuben Brigety accused South Africa of supplying arms to Russia. Mokonyane said the ANC had noted Brigety's comments and was allowing the government to formally respond.
She said Brigety can't change ANC resolutions.
"The ambassador can't change ANC resolutions. You need a conference to change resolutions," Mokonyane said.
She said the ANC would formulate a complete response at a National Working Committee meeting on Monday.

I don't see why DA whould agree to this. Don't they hold about 90% of votes among moonshooters?
