Yeah but they did mandate that the refineries move to euro5 spec fuel but refused to let the refineries cost recover the upgrades, so what did the private entities do do you think?

The move to 10ppm should have happened back in 2017, but was delayed. The sudden announcement of the 2023 date was stupid, but as I said, government didn't damage the 3 private refineries. The 10ppm date is now 2027 and Sasol already produces that in Secunda and thinks that it will be able to do so at Sasolburg.

I don't disagree it should have happened ages ago and that they didn't damage the refineries... But the refineries were largely dead assets for the companies after the government basically said "spend billions but you can't even think of recovering the costs of the upgrades we're forcing you to make"... Sasol is a special case because at current prices they're largely printing money for refining.
 
The puppet's highest qualifications is apparently a grade 10
The fact that Johannesburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda has only a Grade 10 qualification should rightly send alarm bells ringing for residents, especially as he is expected to handle a R70 billion budget after only serving three years as a councillor.

Grade 10? He called himself a "black JS" apparently, so I thought he at least had Matric (even tho JS at least ****ing finished high school)...

So the second Al Jama-ah oke is a potential fraudster and high school dropout... What next can the Doomsday Coalition and Al Jama-ah give us...?

I like the new one, he sounds much more humble and appreciative of dismal performance his part has had in Tshwane, unlike the others who pretend like they are the best thing to happen to the metro.

Zuma said he had assasinations after him for ages and then Andre learned from his master in GLM. Chris Pappas feels threatened so it is just a matter of time that it will be emulated by Tshwane guy.

I'm tired of this wailing by ANC. If it isn't "swart gevaar", then it is "Our People™", and if it isn't that then it's Apartheid, etc, etc... It seems that's all ANC has to offer rn.

They conveniently use the country's tumultuous history as a psychological weapon/deflector against voters and the SA public in general. And the worst (also frustrating) thing of all, it works in some instances...

And of course, textbook ANC: "He's an evil, racist Apartheid right-winger wanting to oppress us"

But is it not our hero who moaned about ANC people calling each other Comrade? Out of all the things that could worry him about the mess that Eskom is, he was so worried about that particular detail? Why?

Looks to me like the swart gevaar shoe fits perfectly.

He is doing the exact same thing our hero is doing, show me one instance where he complained about Jamnadas interference before? If Jamnadas is such a terrible person why did he choose to confide in him about the high ranking politician?

De Ruyter is aware of the names since he is the source but refuses to reveal them.

What I remember he said was the ANC's thinking still being stuck in the 80s as if the Berlin Wall is still going (which is true). Their insistence on calling each other Comrade is a mere symptom of that.
