The SA Politics Thread Part 3

That's true but, like everyone else they have dropped him like a hot turd as it has become clear he's gone lackadaisical (an accusation he himself made of SA and business). I think the media here are at least willing to see the like unlike the US and UK where the rightwing media always support the rightwing narrative and the left support the left in fixed positions.

Rightwing media in SA is very loyal to the views of its readership, your Rapport, Maroela Media etc but they also surely know that their readership will boycott them if they become critical.

I don't really read Rapport and Maroela mostly report news and don't do much in the way of opinion. The most right english media would be politicsweb. The Citizen too are pretty biased to the right. To be fair, the left media while not exactly ANC centric do overdo the woke.

Yeah, we did see how it was demanded that Daniel Friedmann be fired from The Citizen.

Maroela Media is right-wing sure... But Rapport? LMAO

Or are you taking the "Afrikaans = Right wing" approach here...

The DA rejects the evidence-free slurs directed by Nqaba Bhanga at the Chairperson of the Federal Council, Helen Zille. Bhanga’s claims were recorded in a poorly written post on Facebook which he had to edit multiple times. These claims fall flat at the first and most simple hurdle.

Bhanga claims that Zille was in Gqeberha on Friday night in furtherance of some far-fetched conspiracy against him. However, the DA has confirmed that Zille was not even in the Eastern Cape at the time.

Bhanga went further to allege an “investigation” by Zille into his property, this is also patently false. The only body tasked with investigation in the DA is the Federal Legal Commission (FLC), a politically independent body within the party, and can only be commenced with after a formal complaint has been lodged and tagged. The FLC conducts its work without fear and favour.

This Bhanga chap doesn't seem right in the head.
