Dude. The ANC holds Mangaung on a knife edge (50% + 1), if they lose two or more seats in those elections, they lose their majority and most likely the muni too...
It'll be curious to see what happens there. I hope the DA and IFP can have good showings there. But if ANC gets the hammering they've gotten elsewhere in MAN too, then we can safely say that the ANC is screwed.
P.S Mangaung is Bloemfontein. A metro.

The EFF have 12 seats there so no chance of the ANC losing outright power. The opposition have no chance of even forming a minority government. The ANC wouldn't even really the EFF.

The funny thing is a while back a guy from some party called African Alliance of Social Democrats was elected mayor and the DA got Speaker and Chief Whip positions.
But they were replaced by acting okes from ANC pending a court challenge by ANC. Everything rides on those 4 elections.
So unless ANC and EFF go Doomsday again... The odds seem to be that ANC might just be deposed in MAN.
