Sore losers. Everybody knows a Polo is always faster. They had to get the guy in front to block them to catch them ...

I won't lie, there are a couple times I have wanted to kick a Polo driver like that who is driving slowly for no good reason on the overtaking lane, they always have that stomp on me look when you finally manage to catch a glimpse while having to overtake on the left.
But it's still an exceptionally appalling and criminal behaviour from people who are supposed to be officers of the law, good thing that driver managed to get the number plate.

WATCH | Search under way for alleged assault victims of VIP protection members on Johannesburg highway
A video of the VIP protection police assaulting a motorist and passengers on the N1 highway near Woodmead, north of Johannesburg has surfaced on social media.www.timeslive.co.za
Clearly this spokesperson lives in a dream world. Every motorist on the road knows about these blue light cowboys as can be heard in the video clip. She said the conduct does not align with the values and code of conduct of the police, which outlines the values and principles that all SAPS members are expected to uphold, including integrity, professionalism, accountability, and respect for human rights.
They are cops after all, so bullying a motorist out of the fast lane, even though unpleasant is technically not a crime and won't be making any news. It's instances like this when they cross the line that will make news.Clearly this spokesperson lives in a dream world. Reckless driving is a crime. They are cops after all, so bullying a motorist out of the fast lane, even though unpleasant is technically not a crime and won't be making any news. It's instances like this when they cross the line that will make news.
Cops, because of their official status enjoy the benefit of doubt, when they come speeding behind you and weaving through traffic, it is assumed that they are on official police business, that's just how it is, it's a fair point to say some are abusing this status, but I honestly would be more concerned about them beating up people on the highway than them speeding.Reckless driving is a crime.
You should be concerned about all of it. Plenty of accidents have happened from the reckless driving too. I bet this isn't even the first time they've beaten people up on the side of the road.Cops, because of their official status enjoy the benefit of doubt, when they come speeding behind you and weaving through traffic, it is assumed that they are on official police business, that's just how it is, it's a fair point to say some are abusing this status, but I honestly would be more concerned about them beating up people on the highway than them speeding.
It's a waste of concern, if I start getting concerned about them it means I should be concerned about all the police cars and emergency vehicles who are speeding for whatever reason. I won't possibly know if they are speeding for a legitimate reason or not, and yes they can cause accidents but that can happen with any other emergency vehicle, like metro cops, SAPS or the highway patrol. You should be concerned about all of it. I don't believe you haven't seen a blue light convoy and how they drive on the freeway taking up all the lanes and pushing other cars off the road. It's a waste of concern, if I start getting concerned about them it means I should be concerned about all the police cars and emergency vehicles who are speeding for whatever reason. Taking all the lanes? Nope, I have never seen them do that, they are usually in a convoy on one lane, generally the overtaking lanes, I have and I have never been bothered by them.I don't believe you haven't seen a blue light convoy and how they drive on the freeway taking up all the lanes and pushing other cars off the road.
I witness them a dozen times on the n3 to pmb taking up one lane and half the other lane pushing cars off in a big hurry, then they disappear over the hill. Next thing you notice is them stopped on the side of the road for a picnic or something, clearly not in a rush.Taking all the lanes? My attitude is always to assist police and emergency vehicles to past and go about their business so if I can will do just that, they are usually out of sight in no time at all and you are back to enjoying your journey.
